Boulos says framework agreement calls for Israeli repositioning outside Lebanon
Massad Boulos said the framework agreement calls for the repositioning of the Israeli army outside Lebanese territory, and that Hezeb must deal positively with the agreement and state institutions, otherwise there will be very serious consequences for Lebanon. He added that there is daily coordination with Saudi Arabia regarding Lebanon and support for the Lebanese Army, and that efforts are under way to facilitate US investments in Lebanon, with details to be announced by Ambassador Michel Issa, including a dedicated conference. Boulos said the trilateral framework agreement clearly separates Lebanon from the Iranian file, and that the Lebanese state must extend its authority across all Lebanese territory, not only south of the Litani River.
