Vehicle data: what we hold and what we do not own
We do not own the vehicle data. The registration records behind our plate lookup come from a third-party dataset that we did not create and do not control. Radar speed violations are fetched from the official service at the moment you ask and shown exactly as returned; we neither store nor alter them beyond a short cache. LBN News is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Internal Security Forces or any other government body, and we make no guarantee that any record is complete or current.
A lookup result shows only a registered name and phone number where one exists. We never publish mothers' names, addresses, dates of birth, birthplaces or registry numbers, and those fields never appear in a public response.
Who this platform is for
It is intended for anyone who needs to verify vehicle information in a legitimate context, such as:
- Used-car buyers checking a plate or chassis before closing a deal
- Vehicle owners matching their own records against official documents
- Lawyers and insurance assessors verifying vehicle information
- Drivers who need to reach the owner of a vehicle blocking access
- Researchers looking at how vehicle registration works in Lebanon
How the service works
Enter a plate number and its symbol, and the system searches the available data and returns the related public information. Speed violations are queried live from the official service. The service is free, needs no account, and applies a reasonable request limit per visitor. Requests are logged with the client address for abuse prevention and are deleted automatically after a retention window.

Our vehicle information system is designed to provide technical and registration data while protecting personal privacy. Always use vehicle information responsibly and in compliance with local laws and regulations.
