UN official criticizes Lebanese officials over aid requests and expenses

A UN official, during a session with experts, said in response to a question about aid to Lebanon that Lebanese officials continue to request assistance and expand their list of needs as if Lebanon were as poor as some neighboring countries. She added that, once the meetings end, they host foreign political delegations in luxury hotels and restaurants, with bills people in their own countries could only dream of.
