Awarta checkpoint holds ambulance, Palestinian fetus dies

Rami Abdu, head of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, said a Palestinian fetus died after occupation forces held an ambulance for more than 30 minutes at the Awarta checkpoint in the West Bank. He added that soldiers ordered the ambulance engine turned off, which disabled life-saving devices, and subjected the bleeding mother to a search.
