Official sources say U.S. seeks workaround for army operations

Official sources said the United States has turned to government officials to discuss a workaround that would allow the army to operate with complete freedom within the framework of the “survey and clearance operation” in the experimental areas, after the Lebanese army informed the U.S. mediator that entry into homes and private properties requires a judicial permit.
