Prosecutor General orders inspections of fuel stations and importers

Lebanon’s Prosecutor General at the Court of Cassation tasked security forces with inspecting fuel stations to determine whether some are closed or whether others are restricting fuel distribution to citizens and vehicles, and to issue violation reports against non-compliant stations. He also tasked the Information Branch with inspecting fuel-importing companies to verify whether they are regularly supplying fuel to stations. If any violations are confirmed, reports will be filed against them in preparation for initiating legal proceedings.
