Israeli army destroys tunnels near Beaufort Castle in south Lebanon

The Israeli army has destroyed tunnels in the area of Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon, according to a statement from the Netanyahu office. The statement said the underground infrastructure belonged to Hezbollah and that the tunnels were blown up using about 700 tons of explosives. It added that the operation was carried out in response to what it described as Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire agreement the previous day. The army said it would remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon and continue destroying infrastructure.
