Roadmap to implement Trump Gaza peace plan

A roadmap has been outlined for completing the implementation of U.S. President Donald Trump's comprehensive peace plan for Gaza, alongside UN Security Council Resolution 2803 (2025). The document says the process aims to end the cycle of destruction, secure a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, restore normal life, enable Palestinian governance, and support reconstruction, security, recovery and economic development. Under the roadmap, Israel and Hamas are to complete the remaining obligations under the Sharm el-Sheikh protocol, including a halt to military operations. A timeline and implementation mechanisms for the next phase are to be prepared within 14 days of approval by all parties, with possible extension by the International Verification Commission. Once that timetable is completed, the Gaza National Administration Committee is to enter the Strip and assume its responsibilities. The text says civil and security functions in Gaza should be transferred to the Gaza National Administration Committee, which would have full independence during the transition. It also calls for a gradual disarmament process, the transfer of police weapons to the new administration, and the later deployment of a temporary international stabilization force to separate Israeli forces from areas under the administration's control, monitor the ceasefire, train Palestinian police and secure humanitarian aid. The roadmap further states that Israeli forces are to withdraw gradually from Gaza in line with the agreed timetable, and that Gaza's reconstruction will be carried out under a plan overseen by the relevant authorities and according to applicable laws and international standards.
