Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that solidarity and compassion are optional, but respecting treaties and European statements is not. He added that this is not a time for division, but a time to continue building a strong and united European Union. He also cited figures for irregular entries between 2021 and 2026 according to Frontex.
