Aoun says army is sole guarantor of Lebanon's unity

Aoun said the Lebanese Army is the sole guarantor of Lebanon's unity, sovereignty and independence. He said the next phase requires the deployment of the army along the entire southern border and the exclusive extension of state authority. He also called on Lebanese people to consider the army a red line above any political or partisan dispute, and renewed full confidence in the army leadership.
