Trump says attack on Iran canceled pending a quick deal

Trump: The United States is fully prepared to confront the Islamic Republic of Iran with military power, terror and capabilities not seen since World War Two. However, Iran and other countries in the Middle East asked us to postpone any attack after agreeing on the outlines of a deal. The deal would include the immediate, full and comprehensive opening of the Strait of Hormuz and ending the Iranian nuclear threat. Based on this request, I agreed, for the benefit of the whole world and to ensure that Iran remains successful and prosperous, to cancel the attack, provided that a deal is reached quickly.
