Aoun proposes three-year extension of UNIFIL mandate to 2029

Visitors to President Aoun told Al Jadeed that the president presented a clear proposal during talks with the American side to extend UNIFIL’s mandate by three years until the end of 2029, to accompany the deployment of the Lebanese army and help it carry out its duties.
