Walla reporter cites first probe into weekend ambush incident

A correspondent for the Hebrew news site Walla said the first investigation under Brigadier General Mani Liberty as commander of Division 98 found that an Egoz unit set up an ambush over the weekend and spotted a Hezbollah force emerging from a hiding place before opening fire. It said an Israeli officer was moderately wounded, while the number of Hezbollah fighters killed remains unclear.
