Abbas confirms legislative elections will be held on schedule

Mahmoud Abbas confirmed that legislative elections will be held on their scheduled date, 28 November 2026, and renewed his support for the independence of the Central Elections Commission, during his meeting with the head of the commission, Rami Hamdallah, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.
