Senior Iranian source says Tehran unlikely to accept alternative

A senior Iranian source told Reuters that, regarding the exit route from the Strait of Hormuz, Oman will allow ships to depart after notifying Tehran. The plan would give Tehran the ability to monitor maritime traffic leaving the Strait of Hormuz and intervene when necessary. Tehran is unlikely to accept any other alternative for reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
