A member of Iran's parliamentary National Security Committee said Trump has stated 106 times that he defeated Iran, 95 times that “we destroyed Iran,” 88 times that a deal with Iran is imminent, and 75 times that the Strait of Hormuz is open, asking: if it is open, why did they provoke another 17-day war in Hormuz?
