Lebanon renews call for ceasefire extension at political meeting

During the political meeting, Lebanon renewed its call for a ceasefire extension to ensure the seriousness and effectiveness of its implementation in the coming period and to cover all activity along the border. The military meeting in Rome also discussed pilot areas, with Bint Jbeil and Khiam seriously proposed by the Lebanese side. The issue of detainees is expected to be raised at the Rome meetings on Thursday.
