Frangieh says Lebanon is a card in US talks with Iran

Suleiman Frangieh said his relationship with the Americans is clear, and that he may disagree or agree with them, but he has not changed his position for fifty years while their calculations have changed. He added that he was once their candidate, but with the arrival of the new ambassador the relationship was cut off, although the ambassador does not know them. Frangieh said he has always said that an Iranian-American understanding is the solution and leads to fertile ground for a settlement, adding that Lebanon has become a card in the hands of the Americans at the negotiating table with Iran.
