Berri dissatisfied with results of seventh negotiation round

A well-informed political source told Al-Diyar that the results of the seventh round of negotiations were very disappointing, and that President Nabih Berri expressed his dissatisfaction with those results, adding that he had not expected anything from them. The source said what happened in the round again points to a very bad reality and confirms for the second, third and tenth time that this track has not and will not lead anywhere. It noted that no clear official statement was issued after the seventh round, except for what President Aoun said before the Cabinet, and said that talk of progress on demarcating the international border changes nothing, especially since the enemy insists on occupying what it called the yellow line and, after the framework agreement, seeks to advance into other areas adjacent to that line.
