Iran links Hormuz reopening to six demands

Enemy media: 🔴 Iran's Supreme National Security Council said the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed unless six demands are met: the United States and its allies stop all threats against Iran, military operations against Iran and its allies end permanently, U.S. naval and air forces withdraw and the blockade on Iran is lifted, Iran receives compensation for war-related damage, all sanctions imposed on Iran are lifted, and all frozen Iranian assets are released unconditionally. Iran also said the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened until the United States accepts all of its conditions. The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump privately told senior aides he could be willing to end the war with Iran without a nuclear deal if Tehran fully reopened the Strait of Hormuz, adding that Iran's new and sweeping demands complicate his search for an exit.
