Yemeni forces say they struck Saudi buildup in Mokha

The Yemeni Armed Forces said they carried out a wide and high-level military operation targeting Saudi-backed troop buildups and weapons depots in the Mokha area. They said the strike was precise and caused extensive destruction to the equipment and weapons, killing and injuring dozens, including Saudis, using a large number of ballistic missiles and drones. The statement said the operation came in response to continued Saudi mobilization and ongoing attacks in the western coast and Taiz governorate. It was dated in Sanaa on 26 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to 9 August 2026, and was issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces.
