Channel 13: Washington wants Israel to end fighting on three fronts

Israel's Channel 13, citing a senior army officer, said the U.S. message to the Israeli army is to move forward with closing the three fronts. It added that the U.S. Central Command commander conveyed during his visit to Israel a message saying Washington wants Israel to end the fighting on the three active fronts, and that he asked Israel to withdraw from areas in southern Lebanon. The channel said the United States wants the fighting on the three active fronts to end, and that CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper visited Israel over the weekend. Regarding Iran, the Israeli army told the Americans that Israel retains the option to intervene if intelligence shows the Islamic Republic continues its push to obtain nuclear weapons and rebuild its ballistic missile system.
