Witchcraft talismans spread into some jewelry shops in Tripoli

Witchcraft and talismans are making their way into some jewelry shops in Tripoli, through rings and necklaces bearing mysterious symbols, including distorted Quranic verses and the hexagram known as the “Star of David” or “Seal of Solomon.” The owner of one jewelry shop told MTV that men take these talismans to wear them, believing they bring prestige and control, and that they rely mainly on the Star of David. Women, meanwhile, often buy them as gifts to attract a man involved with another woman and end his relationship with her. They are directly linked to distorted verses, the number of days and the planets.
