Likud to consider adding Saar and Katzs to its electoral list

Enemy media: Likud’s secretariat will be asked to approve, alongside the reserved slots for the prime minister, the placement of Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and Likud Central Committee Chairman Minister Haim Katz on the Likud electoral list, in addition to the new candidates the prime minister is expected to add through reserved slots. Last week, the party tribunal ruled that a slot should be reserved for the defense minister, who was anyway expected to place near the top of the list, in order to allow him to focus on security needs rather than engage in politics at this time. Saar will be placed on the list as part of the agreement to merge his party with Likud, while Haim Katz will be included by virtue of his role as chairman of the Likud Central Committee.
