Iran links reopening of Hormuz Strait to U.S. acceptance of terms

An adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mohammad Mokhber, said that every time the enemy violates its commitments and returns to war, it will face more difficult conditions than before, adding that the punishment of the aggressor will continue and that the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened until Iran’s conditions are met. Ali Shamkhani, the Supreme Leader’s envoy and secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said that as long as America does not accept Iran’s conditions, including ending the war on Gaza and Lebanon, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened. He added that if an agreement is reached between Iran and Oman on the navigation route in the strait, that would be a separate issue from closing Hormuz.
