Interior minister says Defense Minister is in government, issue soon resolved

The Interior Minister, responding to a question about the possibility of the Defense Minister’s resignation, said he is a minister in the government and is known for his integrity, and that the Prime Minister is concerned with the solidarity of his government and its ministers. Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar added that all ministers and the government stand with the military institution and the Lebanese Army, and that the Defense Minister is at the head of his ministry and that everyone is heading in the same direction. Health Minister Rakan Nasser El-Din said the Defense Minister is a respectable person, and that the Prime Minister should be responsive and cooperative, adding: we will see what happens at the session.
