Iranian tanker loads two million barrels at Kharg Island
Today, a giant oil tanker belonging to the National Iranian Tanker Company was seen loading about two million barrels of crude oil at the Azarpad jetty on Kharg Island in Iran, the first loading operation seen on the island since the end of July and after it had been empty for about two weeks. The sources said Iran has continued loading oil tankers at other terminals, and that its oil production appears to be roughly in line with refinery output and domestic consumption, meaning it may not need to export large quantities.
