Sami Kleib says southern massacres pressure Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Iran

Media figure Sami Kleib said that the massacres in the south today embarrass the Lebanese authorities regarding the usefulness of negotiations, and put Hezbollah and Iran before two options: either respond and risk a return to war, or remain silent in what is known as strategic patience, while waiting for a major Iranian decision also tied to the deadlock in negotiations with Trump’s administration. He added that Hezbollah does not want to give Netanyahu a pretext to return to a war he wants, and that Iran realizes any military move on its part could help Trump get out of his confusion. Kleib asked whether this strategic silence would continue for long amid the daily killing of the people of the south, saying the zero hour may no longer be far away despite all risks.
