Residents in north warned of overnight Israeli operations in south Lebanon

Residents in northern Israel have been informed that Israeli forces will conduct military operations in southern Lebanon overnight, with explosions expected to be heard on the border and in the Upper Galilee. The Katzrin Municipality said explosions are expected during the night in the Galilee area due to planned preemptive military activity, and residents will be updated if anything changes. The Upper Galilee Regional Council said artillery shelling, airstrikes and other explosions will be heard throughout the night, with no changes to civilian guidelines. Channel 12 reported that a senior Israeli official said the Israeli army will launch intensive attacks in Lebanon tonight, while preparing for "various scenarios," and said the army is preparing to continue airstrikes tonight in southern Lebanon.
