Channel 14 says escalation is limited, response will stay local

Channel 14 Israel said the current escalation is limited but highly significant in light of developments in Lebanon. It added that the Israeli army does not intend, at present, to expand its response, and that the political leadership and the army are expected to meet to decide on the next steps. It also said, regarding the ceasefire violation by Hezbollah, that this is a localized but important escalation in the current sequence of events in Lebanon, and that the army does not intend to respond beyond the localized strikes carried out so far.
