Wall Street Journal: Iran weighs targeting internet cables
The Wall Street Journal, citing Iranian officials, says Iran is planning additional escalation attacks if fighting against Gulf states resumes, including targeting internet cables, with the possibility of ground operations against Kuwait. It added that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has provided Ansar Allah with missiles and drones, along with information on targets and protection for leaders. The paper said Iran considers the memorandum of understanding an American and Israeli attempt to buy time, and is weighing the option of targeting internet cables and sparking unrest abroad.
