Netanyahu and Kushner meet in Jerusalem to discuss Gaza plan
Netanyahu and Kushner met today in Jerusalem to discuss continuing implementation of the plan in Gaza. Israeli political sources said after the meeting that they agreed not to rebuild Gaza before Hamas is fully disarmed, and that the army would retain freedom of action in Gaza and the assassination policy would continue. The sources added that any plans for rebuilding Gaza were halted, linking that to Hamas disarmament. Channel 12, citing a political source, said Netanyahu's meeting with Kushner and the senior representative of the Peace Council has ended, and that Kushner and Mladenov then went on to meet with President Herzog. In another account, Israeli officials said Netanyahu criticized Kushner over his meeting with Hamas leadership and made clear that targeted killings in Gaza will continue.
