Eight Israeli strikes hit Abu al-Duhur military airbase runway in Idlib

🔴 Eight Israeli airstrikes targeted at dawn the runway of Abu al-Duhur military airbase in eastern Idlib countryside in northern Syria, and Syrian media said the strikes caused material damage to the airport infrastructure without casualties. Other sources had reported 4 airstrikes targeting the runway and other sites inside the airbase, while reports said smoke columns rose from Abu al-Duhur military airport and that Turkish forces are also deployed in the area. Israeli Army Radio said the strikes took place deep inside Syrian territory and targeted the airbase runways with four missiles, adding that the Israeli army has not commented so far. Sources told Al Araby Al Jadeed that the strikes came after a Turkish military delegation visited to rehabilitate the runway.
