Eli Cohen leads Likud primary as Barkat and Gotliv fall
Enemy media: With two-thirds of the ballots counted, Eli Cohen is in the lead, while Tally Gotliv has moved into the middle of the second ten and Nir Barkat is near the bottom of the list. Eli Cohen, Silman, Golan, Dichter and Milwidsky are currently outside the Knesset. With 70 percent counted, Elkin and Amit Halevi are battling for the last realistic spot on the list, Barkat is 22nd on the Likud slate, and Gotliv is 19th, far behind the top five. The numbers also indicate that three ministers, Dichter, Silman and Golan, have definitely seen their political careers end tonight, while Elkin and Gamliel are in danger and Barkat has dropped into the third ten. Gotliv is trailing Miri Regev by 9,000 votes in the race to be Likud's top-ranked woman, after moving up from the third ten to the end of the second.
