Iran weighs striking U.S. military targets in Europe
Financial Times: Iran is considering the possibility of targeting American military targets in Europe if Trump decides to escalate the war. The options discussed include Bulgaria, as sources said Iranian forces assessed the possibility of striking U.S. military assets in southeastern European countries, including Bulgaria. Cyprus was also among the potential targets for an Iranian response, especially given the presence of a British air base on the island that was previously attacked by a drone in March. Iranian forces also discussed the possibility of targeting undersea fiber-optic cables in the Strait of Hormuz in the event of a new escalation. The newspaper said these options reflect Tehran's readiness to broaden its response if a new confrontation breaks out, so that its targeting would not be limited to U.S.
