Amal Movement rejects Nidaa Al-Watan report on internal currents
Amal Movement issued a statement rejecting what Nidaa Al-Watan published about the existence of currents and orientations within the movement and linking them to leadership names, saying it was not journalistic news but exposed political wishes. It said the movement’s stance and its relations with all different forces and parties are determined by its leadership institutions, not by the newspaper’s imagination or its suspicious sources. The statement added that citing one of the movement’s leaders through alphabetic initials in this context is a baseless claim and a cheap attempt to invent divisions that exist only in the writer’s imagination and sources, saying the person meant is the closest and most keen to express the movement’s central position and that of its leader on various issues.
