US Vice President says economic pressure is changing Iran’s calculations

The US Vice President said economic pressure on Iran is changing its calculations regarding the deal it wants to strike with us. He added that pressure will make Iran think whether it wants its economy to remain choked forever or a better relationship with the West, noting that despite Iran targeting commercial vessels, large quantities of oil and gas were secured through the Strait of Hormuz. He said more energy supplies must be ensured through the strait, and that they will move ahead with economic pressure on Iran because it will achieve the final objective in the end. The Washington Post quoted a US official as saying that Iran is bankrupt and that there are many pressure cards the president can activate more strongly in the coming weeks.
