Israeli Air Force receives second Boeing KC-46 refueling plane

Enemy media: The Israeli military says the Israeli Air Force has received its second Boeing KC-46 refueling aircraft, out of six ordered. A ceremony was held yesterday at Nevatim Airbase in southern Israel to inaugurate the aircraft after it arrived from the United States. The KC-46 planes, known in the IAF as "Gideon," are meant to replace the military's aging Boeing 707 refueling fleet, which played a key role in Israel's recent wars against Iran. The military says the refuelers enable extended operational range and loiter time for fighter jets, alongside advanced multi-mission transport capabilities. The IDF added that the aircraft's arrival constitutes a significant enhancement to the Air Force's capabilities in a multi-front war and in operations in distant theaters.
