Katz orders forceful action against launches from Gaza
Enemy media: Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to act forcefully against the launching of balloons, kites, and drones from Gaza toward Israeli towns, the Gaza border communities, and the western Negev, and to take all necessary measures to prevent such activity. He said this includes targeting Hamas leaders responsible for the launches and those carrying them out, evacuating neighborhoods and areas from which the launches are conducted, and acting against terrorist infrastructure there. Katz said every launch is regarded as an act of war, and anyone who organizes, launches, or enables such launches will be dealt with immediately and with the utmost severity. He added that a balloon is treated like a kite, and a kite like a drone, with or without explosives, and said he will not allow a return to the reality that existed before October 7.
