Israeli chief of staff raises alert level in West Bank and across fronts

Enemy media: Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir says he has ordered a major bolstering of troops in the West Bank in light of recent tensions in the territory. Speaking during a morning assessment with the IDF's top brass, he said the army is advancing combat readiness measures across all fronts, from Iran and Lebanon to Gaza, and remains on high alert amid the potential for escalation on several fronts. He said that because of the tensions in the West Bank and the upcoming Jewish holiday period, an additional regular division headquarters has been ordered to stand by to reinforce troops in the area if required, alongside the two divisions already responsible for the sector: the Judea and Samaria Division and the Gilead Division on the Jordanian border. He added that the entire army will remain on full, multi-front readiness during the holiday period with no reduction in forces.
