IDF says two operatives killed in separate strikes in Gaza
Enemy media: The Israeli military says a Hamas operative who took part in the October 7, 2023 assault and a commander in Palestinian Islamic Jihad were killed in separate strikes in Gaza City yesterday. It said the first strike hit the Shati camp and killed Ibrahim Nabil Ibrahim Bass, whom it identified as a Hamas commander who invaded Israel on October 7. A separate strike in Gaza City's Sabra neighborhood killed Hamdi Ahmad Hamid Kahlil, whom the military identified as a surveillance platoon commander in Islamic Jihad. The IDF said both men had recently advanced attacks on Israeli troops and civilians and had worked to restore the groups' capabilities, 'while systematically violating the ceasefire.' It added that the strikes were carried out 'to remove the threat.'
