Israeli military says three killed in targeted Jenin strike

Enemy media: 🔴 Breaking: The Israeli military said it carried out a targeted airstrike against several militants in Jenin in the Menashe Brigade area, then clarified that it struck a vehicle in the city with three people inside. It said the main target was Qais Bitawi, whom it described as the head of an armed cell in Jenin and as attempting to advance attack plots, together with two others who were with him. The strike killed three Palestinians, including a commander, and troops later found a weapon inside the car. The military and the Shin Bet said Bitawi headed Hamas activity in the Jenin refugee camp, was involved in directing, financing and carrying out attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces, and maintained ties with Hamas in Gaza and abroad. The IDF also said he was a relative of Nour Bitawi, who was killed in an Israeli strike on Jenin in May 2025.
