Speaker Berri awaits outcomes of Washington meetings

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri stated that he is waiting to learn the outcomes of the bilateral meetings in Washington, particularly regarding the commitment to Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon. He noted that there are no indications from Syria or Lebanon of any intention to intervene or create tensions. Additionally, he described Prime Minister Nawaf Salam's visit to Zawtar al-Gharbiya as symbolic and coordinated, advising him to go early and coordinate with the Lebanese Army because Israel has not stopped opening fire.
