Israel takes responsibility for killing Muhammad Suleiman in 2008

After 18 years, Israel is taking responsibility for the assassination of General Muhammad Suleiman in 2008, who was the close and highest-ranking security adviser to the Syrian president. The sources said a special naval force arrived by sea and fired at him from close range before disappearing without leaving any trace, leaving the Damascus regime in a state of absolute shock. Yediot Ahronot, quoting former prime minister Ehud, said that Israel was behind the killing of the Syrian president's former adviser Muhammad Suleiman in 2008 after a special force infiltrated by sea and fired three sniper rounds, adding that he was the mastermind of the Syrian nuclear reactor in Deir Ezzor.
