Palestine: Mughayyir council chief says settlers seized wide stretches of land

In Palestine, Amin Abu Alia, head of the village council in al-Mughayyir, said residents now have about 900 dunams left out of 43,000 dunams, because settlers have taken control of wide areas of the land. He added that 400 people from the town have been arrested since the start of the war, and about 70 remain in prison. He said that since the start of the year, 7 townspeople have been killed and 340 others injured, and that settlers have stolen hundreds of sheep in recent months and established 11 new settlement outposts on the town's land.
