Katz says Israel has plans to move Palestinians out of Gaza
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel has ready-made plans to move Palestinians out of the Gaza Strip, but is waiting for the United States to determine which countries or destinations they could be sent to, according to France 24. Speaking at a conference organized by Yedioth Ahronoth, Katz said there is no real solution for Gaza without this migration, adding that the Israeli government is organized and ready to remove them by sea, by air and by all possible means. The U.S. Embassy referred requests for comment to the State Department in Washington, while Katz said the plan has not been canceled but has been frozen pending U.S. approval, adding that implementation could depend, in his words, on Washington's assessment of Hamas's compliance with the ceasefire terms.
