Aoun thanks Trump and Red Cross after Lebanese detainees freed

🔴 Urgent: President Joseph Aoun thanked all efforts made, especially by the United States under President Donald Trump’s leadership, and international efforts, led by the International Red Cross, that led today to the release of the first group of Lebanese detainees held by the Israeli government. He said this first step reaffirms the effectiveness of the firm Lebanese position in all its components, and the need to complete the required steps set out in the tripartite framework, leading to the restoration of full Lebanese sovereignty, without losing a single inch of land or a single person from the people. He congratulated the freed detainees and their families on their freedom, and renewed his pledge to continue the struggle to achieve all national demands.
