Israeli army says it struck Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon

🔴 Urgent: The Israeli army said it struck militants and infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon earlier today, in response to two suicide drones launched toward its forces in the security zone. It said the air force hit weapons depots and what it called terrorist buildings used to plan and direct plots against its forces, and also struck a Hezbollah command headquarters set up inside a building that had previously been used as a hospital in an area of southern Lebanon. The army added that Hezbollah operatives had recently worked from inside the headquarters, including in reconnaissance and artillery. It said the strikes also came in response to a Hezbollah attempt yesterday to carry out an attack against its forces operating in the Mounts Ali al-Tahir area, and that no injuries were reported among its forces.
