Owner of targeted palace in Arabsalim issues statement after strike

Mahmoud Haidar, owner of the targeted palace in Arabsalim, said: “We say to the killers of the prophets: God has honored and dignified us to be followers of the master of eloquence, Haydar al-Karrar, the one who humbled your forefathers, who said: ‘This worldly life of yours is worth less to me than the snort of a goat.’ I am honored to tell my children and grandchildren that God blessed and dignified me to have lived in the era of men, the men of God and their master. I would be ashamed to say that I sacrificed mere worldly possessions in comparison with their dearest loved ones. God is the Almighty, the Subduer.”
