Lebanese Army patrols Nabatieh ahead of wider deployment

The Lebanese Army is conducting patrols through the streets of Nabatieh, and is expected to deploy at a number of points inside the city alongside patrols in its neighborhoods, as a prelude to a broader step. A large army patrol was also seen heading toward the city, and Al Jadeed’s correspondent said the expected deployment includes several points inside Nabatieh. Circulating footage showed residents welcoming the Lebanese Army with red roses, before it left the city after a deployment that lasted about an hour and a half.
